Michael Beckley: Mr. Beckley has over 50 years of hospitality industry experience gained in Europe, Bermuda, The West Indies and Canada. He recently retired from Marriott International where he served as senior Vice President, Lodging Development. During his tenure at Marriott, he grew its Canadian presence over twenty fold from 17 hotels to 145 and had signed agreements for the development of a further 18.

Sir Allan Fields: Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (KCMG) in The Queen’s New Year’s Honours List. Sir Allan Fields has been involved in the business sector since 1959, he started out at Porters Sugar Factory before going to Glasgow, Scotland, to study engineering. When he returned home he worked with a number of companies including Barbados Light & Power, Tropical Battery, Neal & Massy, Banks Breweries and Barbados Shipping & Trading Company Ltd. Sir Allan is chairman of Barbados Shipping & Trading, Banks Holdings, Barbados Dairy Industries, Cable and Wireless, and is involved in other business interests.

Will Lipson:  Mr. Lipson is a partner at KPMG one of the worlds largest professional services firms. He  is recently retired, having spent over a two decades working on creating financial structures for large infrastructure development projects across Canada and the U.S.

Bruce Poon-Tip: Mr. Poon-Tip is the founder and owner of G Adventures. At the age of 22 he launched the company and has spent 25 years at the help building G Adventures into the largest adventure travel company in the world. Poon-Tip led G adventures to 40% sales growth each year, including during the global recession of 2008. It was at this time that Poon-Tip realized the potential for G Adventures to grow beyond a company that simply offered trips, to one that had a primary emphasis on organization culture with a set of core values and a business model rooted in freedom and happiness that transcended the travel industry and was easily relatable to customers and employees alike. Bruce Poon-Tip is the author of Looptail: How One Company Changed the World by Reinventing Business .

Sarah Thomson, CEO: Ms. Thomson is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. She began her career in the oil and gas industry and built a multi-million dollar company designing, constructing, and then developing stores in service stations. From there  she went on to develop brand concepts for various oil companies. She went back into development by founding a business that renovated and restored historic homes. Sarah went into the media industry launching Canada’s leading online magazine for business women ( in 2002. She dabbled in politics and is an advocate for environmental building and healthy communities.

Greg Thomson, CFO: Mr. Thomson is a data-driven executive with a passion for improving the world. He helped to build and is Director of Research and co-manager at Charity Intelligence, the premiere charity analyst firm in Canada.  Greg is also co-owner and helped to run Women’s Post, Canada’s online magazine for businesswomen. Previously, Greg worked as a strategy consultant at Monitor Company, helping organizations analyze all aspects of their strategic direction.  Greg earned his B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Queen’s University and his MBA from Harvard University.

**********, CFO: ********* has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. From operating restaurants in the U.K to acting as general manager for hotels in the Caribbean. He is currently operating a large hotel in Barbados (thus name is blocked out).

They provide design and planning that harmoniously brings together natural and constructed elements on the land while responding to past, present and emerging social, economic, political and environmental conditions.
